Alabama: Where to stay

So you're visiting Alabama and you're looking for somewhere to stay then Holiday Inn Express should be on your list.  It’s not that I have any vested interest in the hotel. The hotel is just great. The staff was polite, the room was clean, the internet was great and the breakfast was not to be missed.  

A bonus is that the hotel is not to far from Walmart which means that you don't have to pack heavy. You can find almost anything in Walmart. So pack light and enjoy the shopping. 

In all, the stay at Holiday Inn Express at Saraland was quite pleasant and should I ever revisit Alabama I do believe that I would stay there again.

Travelling with kids

Kids Travelling with kids can be challenging at times.  It is therefore important to be prepared to entertain them or keep them occupied so that you and the rest of the passengers can have some sort of peace. The video may be old but it is on point.   If you have a tablet or laptop etc make sure the battery life is to the max before leaving home so that they can have fun for the entire journey or at least most of it.   Watch the video to the end.   The last one is a classic.
