New Orleans

New Orleans is nothing like what you’d see in all of Alabama at least not in the night.

There are numerous hotels within walking distance to the center of all the fun and activities.  So your stay can be enjoyed more without having to worry about parking or driving back to your hotel.







Surprisingly, there are numerous activities to part take in apart from New Orleans’ street party or Carnival type activities.  Tours and sightseeing are common in the night as it is in the daytime.  Just take along a good camera that can take excellent night pics and ensure you have a large enough SD card because you’ll be taking lots of pics.








Souvenir shops remain open late at night (approximately midnight), so don’t let them rush you into buying.  Walk around. The shops are in abundance and most sell the same things.

To get a better road view of New Orleans you can also watch Banshee (for Cinemax) season 3 episodes 8 @ 30mins to 35mins. Don’t watch a minute more since there’s brutal killing after that.  The show has a lot of violence and sex content so be warned.

Travelling with kids

Kids Travelling with kids can be challenging at times.  It is therefore important to be prepared to entertain them or keep them occupied so that you and the rest of the passengers can have some sort of peace. The video may be old but it is on point.   If you have a tablet or laptop etc make sure the battery life is to the max before leaving home so that they can have fun for the entire journey or at least most of it.   Watch the video to the end.   The last one is a classic.
